DONNA DAVIS, DC is a doctor of chiropractic, certified health coach, massage therapist, and author of the bestselling book The New Retirement Basics: The Quick and Easy Guide for Social Security and Medicare 2016 as well as Retirement Basics: Help for Broke Baby Boomers. She is also a featured writer for the online magazine Sixty and Me, where she informs readers on how to have a happier, healthier and more secure future during retirement. Graduating New York Chiropractic College with an award in Meritorious Service, Dr. Davis grew up in New York City where she operated her private practice for 14 years. Since 1997, she has worked in the ski industry in Aspen Colorado, in which capacity she has twice been awarded the “Business Partner of the Year” award from Habitat for Humanity, in recognition of her innovative and charitable work for the community. A baby boomer approaching retirement herself, Dr. Davis has created “Boomer Blasts”, a website dedicated to helping retirees deal with the sometimes overwhelming challenges that come as a part of aging, especially in the areas of finances and health. Now living in Snowmass Village, Colorado, she is a passionate skier, hiker, traveler and animal lover.
